  1. Figs 1 kilogram
  2. Sugar 500 grams
  3. Water 300 milliliters
  4. Vinegar (apple) 200 milliliters

Step 1: prepare the figs.

Rinse the figs well, trim the ends and send the figs to a low saucepan. Send vinegar, sugar and water there. Figs should lie on the bottom in one layer.

Step 2: Cook the figs in syrup.

Put everything on a slow fire and bring to a boil. Boil for about 2 hours or until the syrup becomes thick and acquires a caramel color.
Periodically collect the foam and turn the figs over several times.
Gather the hot jam in a jar and close. Let cool and then store it in the refrigerator.

Step 3: serve fig jam.

Fig jam is very tasty and sweet! Make sure you have a terrific dessert, even if just with bread and butter.
