Cooking fish patties with zucchini:
Step 1: prepare the minced fish.
Fish fillet should be thawed, cleaned of bones and skin. Grind it with a blender or mince it.
Step 2: three zucchini.
Rinse the zucchini, clean as desired, and grate on a fine or medium grater, squeezing out excess water. You may want to use a blender to chop the zucchini too, but it will be much tastier in cutlets, so don't experiment with it.
Step 3: mix all the ingredients and sculpt the patties.
Mix minced fish with grated zucchini, salt, pepper, add semolina, chopped (grated or ground in a blender) onion and garlic. Add the egg.
Leave the mixture briefly so that the semolina swells, and then mix everything very carefully again.
Form wet cutlets with wet hands and roll them in breadcrumbs (or flour).
Step 4: fry the fish patties with zucchini.
Heat a lot of vegetable oil in a pan and fry in it fish cakes with zucchini until golden brown on all sides. Fry over medium heat so that the patties are cooked not only from the outside, but also from the inside.
Excess oil can be removed by patting the patties with paper towels immediately after frying.
Step 5: serve the fish patties with zucchini.
Fish patties with zucchini are good hot and cold. You can serve them as an independent dish with sauce and slices of fresh cucumber, for example. Or let’s have a crispy cabbage salad as a side dish for such light cutlets.
Enjoy your meal!
- You can add grated carrots to the minced meat for cutlets.
- Fish patties from zucchini can be prepared from frozen or canned fish in their own juice. The taste of these dishes will be completely different.
