Inventory:

Saucepan, kitchen knife, cutting board, grater, ladle.

Cooking:

Step 1: Cook the broth.

Rinse the chicken, cut into pieces and send to the pan, pour water, add laurel and other spices (peppercorns, caraway seeds). Cook the broth, while removing the foam from above.
By the way, you can take a special set where the chicken pieces will be with skin and bones, or you can cook on filet to make a diet soup.
After 10 minutes cooking, add the whole onion peeled into the broth and continue to simmer (to barely simmer) 10 minutes.

Step 2: add the vegetables.

Dice the potatoes and add them to the broth.
Carrots and celery can be finely chopped, or grated, and then added to the soup next to the potatoes and cook until tender.

Step 3: add the grits.

Once the vegetables are slightly softer, add the cereal washed in several waters to the soup. Stir and cook until all the components of the soup are ready.

Step 4: add the greens.

When cereals, vegetables and meat are ready, add fresh greens, salt, pepper, Provence herbs to the soup. Add a tablespoon of butter. Let the soup stand for another five minutes on the fire, then cover it with a lid, remove from the stove and let it cool slightly so that it does not burn when served.

Step 5: serve the groats.

Serve the groats hot. Garnish it with fresh herbs and be sure to offer everyone bread. Folk dishes can hardly be called refined, but they are always tasty, satisfying and easy to prepare. This cannot be taken away from them!
Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- Often I meet recipes where sour cream is added to grains instead of butter. First, dilute it with a portion of the hot broth, and then, stirring, pour into the soup.
